Notes: A list of property auctioned from 3 October to 1 December 1835 by Penoyer and Charles H. Haswell. On verso are statements witnessed by Cornelius Van Wyck Lawrence as the first popularly elected mayor of New York. The bottom portion of the document appears to have been cut out, which would have listed sales after 1 December.
