A jazz aficionado, musician and a graphic designer Troxler founded the Willisau Jazz Festival as well as designing the posters to promote various concerts. He uses bold, vibrant and humorous designs, and some of his images, such as this one, have become icons of modern jazz imagery. Troxler p. 129.
