- Notes: Nixon delivered the eulogy on 30 March 1969, two days after Eisenhower's death. Accounts of the event describe Nixon as very emotional while delivering the eulogy for the ex-President, under whom he served as Vice President. This official Congressional printing of the eulogy was not completed until June of that year.
