The Northern Pacific's North Coast Limited route was established in the 1880s. Here in greens, blues and browns, engine #2607 (no doubt a personal favorite of Krollman's as it appears in several of his posters) is seen steaming through Bozeman Pass in the Montana Rockies; lettering in blue.
