Les Propheties. 125, [3]; 76, [2] pages, including final blank at end of each part. 2 parts in one volume. 16mo, later 19th-century Jansenist-style red morocco by Lemettais; contents washed, with residual toning, margins trimmed, slightly affecting some headlines. Ownership inscription of the Abbé Hector Rigaux (sale, 17 June 1931, lot 44). Lyon: Benoist Rigaud, 1568 [i. e., circa 1568-80?]
- Notes: The genuine 1568 Rigaud edition is the earliest extant to contain all 10 Centuries with the 942 known quatrains. At least 4 variants exist; this copy is Guinard''s edition C, which he suggests might have been published after the others between 1568 and 1580 (see Corpus Nostradamus 38-40, http://cura.free.fr/mndamus.html).
