ONLY KNOWN COPY Les Centuries et Merveilleuses Predictions de M. Michel Nostradamus. [60] leaves. Small 8vo, 19th-century 1/4 sheep with morocco lettering piece, spine and joints worn; some marginal soiling and dampstaining, paper crack in G2. Rouen: Pierre Valentin, 1611 [i. e., 1630?]
- Notes: This edition contains the complete text of Centuries 1-5, all but the last quatrain in Century 6, and only 32 quatrains in Century 7. At the end of this copy a later owner has written a spurious final quatrain to Century 6, the missing quatrains from Century 7, including the 2 against Mazarin, and 4 further spurious quatrains. Chomarat 173 ("1611") locates only the copy at the Douai Bibliothèque Municipale, now lost, and this one; Benazra, page 194 ("c.1630").
