The latest of the PKZ poster series we are offering is also the strangest. The image is very much like a painting (or, more precisely, a pastel). The dandy sniffing a red rose in his button-hole is treated in a strange green, yellow and brown palette with no attempt to be realistically descriptive. The image expresses far more about the artist's style than it does about the PKZ collection itself. It is another clear example of the consistently daring approach that the PKZ publicity department took towards advertising. Swiss Posters no. 13, p. 57.
