Autograph Letter Signed, "Rudolf," to Monique van Vooren ("Dearest Monique"), replying to her letter [present]: expressing thanks for what she has done, confessing that reading her letter was painful, reporting that he had got through opening night ["Nutcracker" at Teatro Colin in Buenos Aires], and stating that Wallace [Potts] made his life entertaining and that without him he would have died. 2 pages, 4to, written on the recto and verso of a single sheet; closed tears at top and right and left edges inexpertly repaired with cello tape (affecting text), folds.
