Album entitled Ohio, with 23 photographs by an amateur photographer depicting the aftermath of the "Great Dayton Flood" and 5 photographs of Niagara Falls.
The natural disaster, which resulted from the Great Miami River flooding, reached from Dayton to Sydney and Akron, and was the greatest natural disaster in Ohio history. With heroic scenes of numerous rescues, relief efforts, and images chronicling the extensive devastation of homes and cities. Silver prints, the images measuring 4 1/4x6 1/4 inches (11.4x16.5 cm.), many with captions in the negative. Oblong 4to, cloth, aged; contents disbound, a few leaves detached. 1913
