- Notes: original catalogue for the famous exhibition of "degenerate" art mounted by the German Reich, lambasting the works of Kokoschka, Kirchner, Grosz, Klee, and others accused of producing poisonous art. Over 5000 paintings and 12,000 pieces of graphic art works had been seized from galleries and museums. In 1938, several pieces were auctioned to raise money for the Reich; most were publicly burned.
