PABLO PICASSO (after) Pierrot et Arlequin

PABLO PICASSO (after)
Pierrot et Arlequin.

Color pochoir, circa 1920. 255x190 mm; mm; 10x7 1/2 inches, full margins. Bears the artist's signature and numbered 14/100 in pencil, lower left. Published by Paul Rosenberg, Paris. A very good impression of this extremely scarce, early print, with strong colors.

Paul Rosenberg became Picasso's dealer in 1918 and respresented the artist until 1940. In the early 1920s he published a set of 10 pochoirs, including the current work, after a series of Cubist gouaches depicting Commedia dell'Arte motifs that Picasso had made in 1920.
