Etching and drypoint on cream laid Montval paper, 1933. 199x278 mm; 7 7/8x11 inches, full margins. One of only a few proofs before the steel-facing of the plate and the intended edition of 50. Signed and dedicated "pour Frèlaut," the printer, in multicolored crayon, lower right. Printed by Lacourière, Paris. A very good impression of this extremely scarce etching.

We have not found another similar impression at auction in the past 30 years. The bon à tirer impression sold at Sotheby's, February, 1979. Bloch 263; Baer 379 IV a.
