The photographs documenting labor and construction at the docks of the Panama Canal. Silver prints, the images measuring approximately 7x9 1/4 inches (17.8x23.5 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, three 3 1/4x4 1/2 inches (8.2x11.4 cm.), the sheets slightly larger, nearly all with a technical caption either typed or in the negative, many including a date, on recto or verso. 1936-38

WITH-- Four pieces of ephemera. Including a paper titled "Native Lumber" presented to the Engineer's Club of the Canal Zone in 1919; a commemorative pamphlet titled "A History of the Panama Canal," 1939; a pamphlet detailing an expansion project called "The Third Locks Project," 1941; and a publication titled Safety Zone from 1943 (documenting accident rates and "The Hit Parade:" workers who have gone a year or more without an accident).
