A brilliant Surrealist production that was inspired by Fargue's original 1928 text, Parry (a student of Tabard) created these 16 photographs to illustrate the 1930 deluxe edition. Julien Levy, the American gallerist and champion of Surrealists, later acquired these photographs from Parry, whose work he also exhibited.
