Standing at the end of the Fair's Constitution Mall, "a broad avenue with pools, fountains, lawns, flower borders, shade trees and heroic statuary" (World of Tomorrow p. 30) with the Trylon and Perisphere in the background, is a 60 foot high statue of George Washington in his inaugural robes, by James Earle Fraser. This is the smaller format of one of the least commonly seen New York World's Fair posters.
