  • Notes: Most of this issue deals with the mob violence against the NAACP's Irish-American executive secretary John Shillady, who was in Austin, Texas to represent the group's Texas branch. Also features short updates from dozens of NAACP regional branches. OCLC reports issues of the Branch Bulletin at only 3 institutions, with only the New York Public Library having anything approaching a complete run.
