Group of 29 photographs of Pre-Incan artifacts, including studies of textiles and painted linen, fancifully painted and shaped pottery vases, bottles, and bowls; stone corbels; and a wooden paddle and staff. Albumen and one platinum (?) print, several multiples, various sizes from 7 1/ 2x11 to 7x7 1/ 2 inches (19x27.9 to 17.8x19 cm.), several numbered, in a later hand, in ink, on recto; all with handwritten caption information, in ink, an ex-collection hand stamp and penciled numerical notations on verso or mount verso. 1880s.
