First edition in English, translated into English by John Danett; folio, title page printed within ornate woodcut compartment incorporating a beehive and Elizabeth's arms in a fantastic architectural garden space; ex libris Thomas Belasyse, Earl Fauconberg (1627-1700) with inscription dated 1677 inside front board, "Lord Ffauconberg his Booke"; later armorial bookplate; bound in 17th century speckled English boards (boards detached, later endleaves); 11 1/4 x 8 in.

Fauconberg married Oliver Cromwell's third daughter Mary in 1657.
