Condition: The binding of this album is in good condition. The front and rear covers are recovered with brown leatherette and rubbed, and the corners are bumped; the gilt-lettered morocco backstrip is a bit worn. There's light soiling throughout and scattered foxing, mostly on the endpapers.
Internally the photographs are in good to very good condition. Twenty-six of the albumen prints are approximately 6 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches (15.8x12.0 cm.) and smaller and affixed to a two-toned mount. There are 3 prints on the title and introductory pages that are about 3 x 4 1/4 inches (7.6x10.8 cm.) and also appear on a two-mounted mount. The overall size of each of the mounts is 11 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches (29.8x22.2 cm.).
