Vintage silver prints, 8.5 x 12inches and smaller, several are signed on verso. 1920s-30 E8000-12000 A comprehensive Bauhaus archive depicting students engaged in high jinks some of its famous personages, and the exciting new style of photography one which came to be inextricably linked with the New Objectivity movement- that flourished there. Several of the prints were formerly in the collections of Herbert Bayer, Lucia Moholy, or Lux Feininger, and a ftw have been reproduced in Bauhaus Photography, M. I. T Press, 1985, and Jeannine Fiedler's Fotografie Am Bauhus (Dirk Nishen), pl, 40 1 Each photograph is accompanied by information indicating the date of the print, its provenance, and publication history. A group portrait by Louis Held of the Bauhaus Festival was in Herbert Bayer Seminal 1938 exhibition introducing the Bauhaus movement to the U.S
