Copy and original silver prints, 4.5 x 6.5inches or slightly smaller, each with a typewritten caption in the negative and a "Famous Rose Collection of Old Time Photographs" handstamp on verso. 1878-1917; printed 1930s E1800-2200 A colorful group of pictures that were part Of a vast collection ofwestern outlaw and law enforcement imagery compiled by the Texas photographer N. H. Rose, who worked in San Antonio in the 1920s- 40s. Most of the images are copy photographs but a few are from life.
