Younger, 1890" containing more than 50 photographs of Egypt and Colombo [Ceylon], comprising 23 photographs of the Gezeereh Palace's opulent reception, drawing and ballrooms, architectural facade, and many views of its grand gardens, all by Sebah; and 30 evocative scenes of Ceylon, many by Skeen, including a Singhalese fishing fleet, street traffic on Skinners Road, delightful scenes of elephants at work, occupational activities at coffee and tea plantations, colorful religious processions in Kandy, prehistoric sacred sites in Anuradhapara and Polonnaroma, and more. Albumen prints the Sebah prints are 10.25 x 14.25inches, with a credit and caption in the negative, and the Skeen prints are 8.75 x 10.75 inches, with his credit in the negative; all of the prints have handwritten captions, in pencil, on mount recto.
