Burton of Jamaican people andplaces comprising views of women breaking rocks on the beach, men andhorses wading at the beach, young men and boys enjoying a make-shift merry-go-round, men gathering for pay day, women coming from market,a birthday party, various views the Jamaican Railway, bridges and roadways, ruins of the old Spanish church and fort in Port Antonio, Harbour Street, Kildare Rock, Blue Hole Island, Copper Hole Falls, the Myrtle Bank Hotel,Wag Water Camp, a sugar estate, and more. Albumen, printing-out paper (1), and silver (1) prints with a cyanotype frontispiece, 5.75 x 8in or the reverse, mounted one per page recto and verso, with period captions, in ink. Oblong 4to, 1 /2 leather, inexpert repair to spine; foxed and soiled. 1870s
