[ Photographs ] (JAPAN) Group of 60 hand-colored photographs featuring some outstanding portraits of geishas and genre scenes, among them "Arbor for Spinning Cocoons", "Playing at ball," "Dancing Girls holding Umbrella," "Shell picking," a row of young women arranged one behind the other in order of size (a conga line?), a geisha performing a handstand, embroiderers at work, and musicians, in addition to scenics of Yokohama, Nikko, and Kobe, and some lovely botanical studies.
