Silver print, 15 75 x 20inches, with the photographer's credit stamp on verso; framed. 1960s E800-1200 Manuel Komroff was a writer who contributed reviews to "Camera Work," and later became a photographer himself he was actively involved with photography and some of its prominent figures, among them Man Ray, Kertesz, Eisenstaedt, and Arthur Rothstein. By 1962 Komroff, who had relocated to Woodstock, N.Y, collaborated with Nathan Resnick and Konrad Cramer to produce a book entitled The Third Eye, which propounded their beliefs in an art which transcended realism - what one critic described as a "classic of late Surrealism mixed with early psychedelia,
