Silver prints, each is 5x4in, most with an inventory number on verso. 4to, gilt-lettered cloth, edgwear; contents crisp and clean. 1950s-60s E1,500/2,500 The album features aseveral prints of men in g-strings that were overpainted in watercolorand removable by the collector. This was a tactic employed by photographers so that censorious postal authorities would permit transport of the images.
