[ Photographs ] (Paris) Album entitled "Photographs" containing 57 photographs documenting sites at the Paris Universal Exposition Of 1889, including the Machinery Hall, Fine Art Gallery, Central Dome and fountains, and pavilions for Nicaragua, Bolivia, Algiers, and Japan, among other countries; some of the great architectural monuments of that city, among them the Opera House, Vendome Column, Eiffel Tower, Madelaine, and monument at the Bastille; surrounding sites such as Trouville, Versailles, and Fontainbleau; as well as scenes from Antwerp, Amsterdam, and Brussels. Albumen prints, 44 are large-format views measuring 11 x 8.75inches or the reverse and slightly smaller and the small format are 4.5 x 7.25inches: 44 mounted one per page and 14 mounted 2 per page, recto and verso; 52 titled in a period hand, in ink, on mount; 31 titled and/or numbered in the negative.
