PKZ / PARE-AVERSE. 1924.
50 1/4x35 1/2 inches. Wolfsberg, Zurich.
Condition B+: repaired tears in margins; creases in margins and image.
In 1924 Baumberger changes style again, choosing a very illustrative, poetical approach. In black, white and gray he depicts a solitary scene of a man walking along a windy and rainy street, past a hoarding posted with the brand name and price of the raincoat which is currently protecting him from the elements. As with many of Baumberger's posters, this one was published in both German and French. This is the French version. Baumberger no. 109, p. 35 (var).
