A Douglas DC- 6 is flying over New York's Central Park, showing some of the buildings along 5th Avenue and a corner of the venerable Plaza Hotel. Known as the Skymaster, the DC-6 was an updated version of the DC-4, and "became the Lockheed Constellation's main competitor." (Fly Now! p. 145). Fly Now! p. 144.
