Condition A-: light vertical and horizontal folds.
It is a curious juxtaposition to see how different artists use the same images to advertise similar products and yet come up with such radically different designs. Much like Max Ponty (see previous lot) this artist uses a radio transmitting tower to advertise a brand of radios. However, whereas in Ponty's design the brand name fills the sky, here the artist uses the pylon itself as a source of wonder; placing the viewer at a low angle looking right up at its massive frame. The image, designed in flat tones, is overwhelming in the imposing impression it gives this technology. The skillful artist was likely part of the stable of artists employed by this Toulouse printing house.
