In addition to their series of competition posters, Porsche also commissioned general advertising posters. Here, in a very handsome and well-organized lay out, the iconic "911" is displayed from different angles. The car was introduced to the market in 1964, making this poster not just a profile of the sleek roadster, but a herald announcing a car that would forever alter the landscape of automotive "cool." Although unsigned, this poster was probably designed under the direction of Herbert Kapitzki, a design professor in Ulm, who was working with Porsche during this time. with - TARGA. Circa 1967.
