A sweeping vista of the heart of downtown Edinburgh, with a view of the intersection of Princes Street and North Bridge, the Scot Monument, Waverly Station and the castle. Rushbury, who designed several posters for the LNER, was "a watercolorist, etcher and drypoint artist who favored architectural scenes" (Railway p. 157).
