The West Highland Route runs between Mallaig (a small fishing town on Scotland's west coast) and Glasgow. An incredibly scenic route, there are also connections to London. Here, depicting an "Observation Coach Train at Lochy Viaduct near Fort William," the scenery shares center stage with the modern, stream-lined observation car. Le Train p. 25.
