Condition A-: minor creases in margins and image.
Hohlwein was such an avid rider and animal lover that he would fill his sketch pads with images of jumping horses. Most likely he adapted one of these sketches for this image. Wember shows a proof before lettering of this poster (no. 427, p. 203), that suggests that Hohlwein merely provided the well-balanced image, and the large mass of information was added at the printing plant by an in-house typographer.
