Notes: perhaps the last signed brochure of this type from the Cooper estate.
The autographs represent one of the earliest group signatures done by the Mercury astronauts just after their selection by NASA in April 1959. A collective decision was made by the astronauts to autograph a very limited number of these pamphlets for their personal collections.
Signed vertically to the right of their respective pictures, "M. Scott Carpenter, Leroy G. Cooper Jr., John H. Glenn Jr., Virgil I. Grissom, Walter M. Schirra Jr., Alan B. Shepard Jr., and D. K. Slayton."
