Ran In-Ting, also known as Lan Yinding, was a Taiwanese watercolor and ink artist known world-wide for his expressive renderings of Taiwan's landscape. He began painting as a child, studied art in school, and went on to become an art teacher at the young age of 17; he taught his students in the Western style of watercolor painting. Now considered one of Taiwan's most famous artist, Ran's paintings are in museum collections such as the Prado and the MoMA.
