Beck did at least three posters promoting London Transport's "Record of Service," one focused on the Tramways, the second was a general overview and this one for the Underground. The patchwork montage is assembled from different black-and-white photographs of the Underground, and features tunnels, rails, ticket windows, technology,the conductors and more. The white, red and blue typography over the photographs indicates the numbers of staff, passengers, miles traveled, and vehicles in use. ref.
