Biörklund's fourth state (of 9); Usticke's second state (of 7); White and Boon's fourth state (of 9), before the third and final reduction of the plate. Ex-collection Ambroise Firmin-Didot (Lugt 119, verso). A very good, dark and well-inked impression of this extremely scarce etching, with strong contrasts and no sign of wear.

We have found only 12 other impressions at auction in the past 30 years. Bartsch 165; Biörklund 30-5; Hollstein (White and Boon) 165.
