Biörklund''s second state (of 4), before the Watelet and Basan rework; Usticke''s second state (of 5); White and Boon''s second state (of 3). Bunch of grapes with a thick stem and proprietary watermark (Ash/Fletcher 21 B.; Heawood 2283; which dates from circa 1735). A superb, dark, richly-inked impression of this large etching with very strong contrasts and no sign of wear, with traces of burr. Bartsch 99; Biörklund 39-A; Hollstein (White and Boon) 99.
