Biörklund''s third state (of 3); Usticke''s first state (e) (of 2), with the slipped stroke through the rat catcher''s shoe printing strongly; White and Boon''s third state (of 3). Coat-of-arms with a Tower, Eagle, Rampant Lions and Golden Fleece watermark (Ash/Fletcher 5 Aa). Ex-collection Jean-Louis-Henri Le Secq (Lugt 1336, verso). A superb, dark impression of this scarce print with selective wiping and crisp, inky plate edges, showing no signs of wear. Bartsch 121; Biörklund 32-C; Hollstein (White and Boon) 121.
