G. de Visser, dated Amsterdam, 1881, in pencil verso (not in Lugt) and unidentified collector, initials (H. C. ?) in ink, verso (not in Lugt). A very good impression of this scarce print.
According to Usticke, "A very rare plate, possibly a self portrait (RRR-)." Bartsch 257; Biörklund 42-A; Hollstein (White and Boon) 257.
