  • Notes: Thomas L. Dunnell (1816-1895) was a Pawtucket textile manufacturer. Correspondents include congressman Lemuel H. Arnold, who wrote 3 times from 1843 to 1850; economist Edward Atkinson, who discussed English textile consumption in 1872; and Samuel J. May, who discussed the logistics of opening a school in 1843.
