  • Condition: Robert Doisneau's charming "Paris Bridge Fishing Bird Eating Bait" (circa 1955; printed circa 1980s) is in very good condition. The print is clean, with rich contrasty tones.

There is a soft vertical crease extending the length of the print just to the left of center (not entering the figure). This presents as a soft ripple, and could be related to imperfect drying in the darkroom process. There is another soft handling mark at the center right edge, not at all immediately apparent, and only possible to find with close inspection in strong, raking light. The far lower right corner also presents the suggestion of a little diagonal crease, but this is minor. There are no margins, and the corners and edges are also overall neat and tidy.

With Doisneau's "Doisneau-Rapho Paris 1er" credit stamp on verso. Print verso is neat and clean.
