Pencil on vellum, 1967. 606x474 mm; 23 7/8x18/ 5/8 inches. Initialed in felt-tip pen and ink, lower right recto, titled in felt-tip pen and ink, upper left recto, and stamped with the date, lower left recto.

This is a study for Indiana's (1928-2018) same-titled 1967 papier collé, sold at Sotheby's, Paris, December 10, 2008, lot 127.

Provenance: Gifted by the artist, Vinalhaven, Maine, to current owner, private collection, Maine.
