Amidst a flurry of modern newspaper and magazine advertisements, flyers, pamphlets and brochures, many of the posters for The Canadian harked back to the heyday of the Trans-Canada Limited, favoring mountain scenery to showcase the service (Canadian Pacific p. 59).
