Volume 1 contains four images of the principal rooms and 80 plates of paintings; Volume 2 contains 114 plates of Sèvres china, furniture, metalwork and objets de vitrine. 2 volumes. Folio, blue morocco by F. Bedford, borders elaborately tooled in gilt, monogram of Baron de Rothschild, spine gilt in compartments, gilt dentelles, some rubbing to joints and tips, visible scuffs and some fading to rear covers, could use some restoration but still a tight and handsome binding; scattered foxing, front endpaper of Volume 1 beginning to separate at bottom.
