  • Notes: number 345 of 600 copies. inscribed and signed by burton in 1900, on front endpaper, adding: "The only thing that doesn't suffer by translation, quoth Sydney Smith, is a bishop." This work is also one of the few Rubáiyáts translated by a woman.
