Six First Editions in Dust Jackets.

Six first editions, all quartos; two with color plates as called for, others with black-and-white text illustrations by John R. Neill; various colors of cloth with pictorial labels affixed to the front boards, illustrated endpapers; in their corresponding dust jackets, including: 

1) The Purple Prince of Oz. Chicago: The Reilly & Lee, Co., 1932. First printing; 12 full-color plates; bound in binding A: dark-purple cloth with the boldface publisher's imprint, all edges stained yellow; in the first issue dust jacket listing titles through Purple Prince (few tears at folds, small losses, creased, small tape repairs and toning to verso; handful of crayon additions, mostly to text illustrations; minor fading at cloth corners, lower hinge split); 9 x 6 ½ in.

2) Handy Mandy in Oz. Chicago: The Reilly & Lee, Co., 1937. First printing; bound in blue cloth; unclipped dust jacket (soiled, rubbed, small losses at corners, a few short tears; sporadic spots; fading at spine ends, water stain to lower board); 9 x 6 ½ in.

3) Another copy of Handy Mandy in Oz; bound in orange-red cloth; in a bright, but slightly later dust jacket (minor edge wear, otherwise very well-preserved); 9 x 6 ½ in.

4) The Silver Princess in Oz. Chicago: The Reilly & Lee, Co., 1938. First printing; bound in binding A: pale peach cloth with lettering in silver; dust jacket with silver lettering matching cover label (price clipped, lightly soiled, small losses, creasing at edges, spotting to verso; scattered marginal stains; spotting to spine and endpapers); 9 x 6 ½ in.

5) Ozoplaning with the Wizard of Oz. Chicago: The Reilly & Lee, Co., 1939. First printing; bound in orange cloth; unclipped dust jacket listing titles through Ozoplaning (price redacted but discernable, edge wear, spotting, soiling, spine sunned, toning to verso; scattered thumbing; minor rubbing, tiny surface spots to spine, hinges bit tender, gently over-opened in a few places); 9 x 6 ½ in.

6) John R. Neill's The Wonder City of Oz. Chicago: The Reilly & Lee, Co., 1940. First printing bound in red cloth; dust jacket listing titles through Wonder City (price clipped, short tears repaired with tape, some creasing, jacket and half-title stamped with name in ink; inked gift inscription to ownership leaf, scattered thumbing, few tiny marginal tears; lower board lightly rubbed, bumped, front hinge bit tender); 9 x 6 ½ in.
