Another plate from L'Estampe Moderne featuring Salome, in pale green and red, with an elaborate, bejeweled belt, dancing with an exotic lute against a patterned background. This appears to be an uncommon, deluxe, variant, printed on heavier paper and with much wider margins. "Two of Mucha's best prints appear in this series [L'Estampe Moderne]" (Rennert/Weill p. 158), for which Mucha also designed the monthly cover. Mucha R10c.
