(Florence 1676-1741 or 1746 Mondov) The Rape of Persephone. Pen and ink and wash on cream laid paper with a prepared pinkish tan wash ground. See Rita Dugoni, Sebastiano Galeotti, Turin, 2001, p. 240, no. D 112. Though a native of Florence, most of Galeotti's works are in various palazzi in Genoa, where he settled in 1729.
